Water Sensory Play
By far one of the EASIEST activities and always a hit with children, WATER!
MATERIALS
Container for water
OPTIONAL
Bubbles
Toys
Cups
Rags
Cleaning brushes
This prep is easy, fill a container with water. How large or small depends on what you have or want to do. I have filled the baby pool with soap and water and had a blast. The bubbles added a whole new sensory element!
We've filled up an old plastic container and let him sit in it with cars. He had a blast seeing which would sink or float and pushing them through the water.
The easiest of all is to just full a small container with water and let them experiment with it. I like to add bubbles and have a "toy wash". Add cups and encourage them to pour water from one cup into the other. Add rags and brushes and let them scrub the deck or anything else they can help clean. Water play is always fun, and better yet its always a little bit messy!
